The Cape Arthur Improvement Association (CAIA) is the community homeowners association for Cape Arthur in Severna Park, MD.  Joining CAIA gives Cape Arthur residents the privilege of using the community amenities including the playground, beach, piers, boat launch ramp, picnic tables, and grills.  Membership of CAIA is voluntary and is renewed each April.  Only residents of homes that are identified in the CAIA Covenants are permitted to join the CAIA and membership cannot be granted to residents of surrounding communities.  Additionally, pier slips are only available to CAIA members, and thus cannot be granted to residents who live outside of Cape Arthur.

New residents to Cape Arthur who wish to join the CAIA can complete the Membership Application form (link below) and submit as directed on the form.  Additionally, you can request access to the Members Only website by clicking on the ‘register’ link on the left bar of the CAIA home page.  CAIA membership is required to obtain a pier slip or dinghy rack.  Questions concerning membership can be directed to membership@capearthur.org.
